  • I’m afraid
  • I think
  • There seems to be
  • Could you please...
  • Would you mind...

उदाहरण:

  • I’m afraid there’s a problem with my bill.
  • I think there may be a mistake here.
  • Could you please check this for me?

इन sentences में complaint भी है, और tone भी polite है।

काम आने वाले polite complaint phrases

इन phrases को याद रखिए:

  • I’m sorry, but this doesn’t seem right.
  • Could you please look into this?
  • I’d like to make a complaint about...
  • There seems to be an issue with...
  • I’m not happy with the service.

I’m not happy with the service सीधा है, लेकिन rude नहीं है।

This service is terrible ज़्यादा blunt और confrontational लगता है।

अगर आपको complaint के साथ request भी करनी है, तो ये patterns बहुत useful हैं:

  • Could you please check this?
  • Can you help me with this?
  • Would you mind replacing it?
  • Could someone take a look?

जब आपको complaint थोड़ी stronger करनी हो

कभी-कभी सिर्फ hint देना enough नहीं होता। तब भी rude हुए बिना firm रहना possible है:

  • I’d appreciate it if this could be resolved today.
  • This has happened more than once.
  • I need someone to look at this issue.
  • Could you explain why this happened?

ये phrases office email, store conversation, या customer support chat में अच्छी तरह काम करते हैं।

Situation-wise examples

In a restaurant

  • Excuse me, I think this dish is cold. Could you replace it?
  • I’m afraid this order is not what I asked for. Could you check it?

In an office

  • I’m afraid the report has some missing data. Could you check it once?
  • There seems to be a mistake in the file. Could you review it, please?

On the phone with customer support

  • I’ve been waiting for a while, and the issue is still not resolved. Could you help me with the next step?
  • I’m calling about a problem with my account. Could you look into it?

At a hotel

  • There seems to be a problem with the air conditioner. Can someone take a look?
  • The room is not as clean as I expected. Could someone help with this?

In a delivery complaint

  • My package hasn’t arrived yet. Could you check the status for me?
  • I think I received the wrong item. Could you help me exchange it?

At a store

  • I think this item is damaged. Could you help me with a replacement?
  • I may have been charged twice. Could you check the bill, please?

क्या नहीं बोलना चाहिए

अगर आप polite रहना चाहते हैं, तो ऐसे direct blame वाले sentences avoid करना बेहतर है:

  • You made a mistake.
  • This is your fault.
  • You never do this properly.

ये lines complaint को argument बना सकती हैं। बेहतर है कि आप problem पर focus करें, person पर नहीं।

कुछ direct translations भी natural नहीं लगते:

  • You are wrong. → बहुत direct और rude लग सकता है
  • Give me solution now. → natural नहीं लगता
  • I am complaining you. → गलत structure है

Better options:

  • I think there may be a problem here.
  • Could you help me with this?
  • I’d like to report an issue.
  • Would you mind checking this for me?

Quick practice

इन situations में polite complaint sentence बनाइए:

  1. आपका bill ज़्यादा आया है।
  2. Hotel room साफ़ नहीं है।
  3. Delivery late है।
  4. Office report में गलती है।

Possible answers:

  • I think there may be a mistake in my bill. Could you check it?
  • The room doesn’t seem clean enough. Could someone take a look?
  • My delivery is late. Could you please check the status?
  • I’m afraid there’s an error in the report. Could you review it?

याद रखने वाली सबसे useful बात

Polite complaint का सबसे practical formula यह है:

problem + request

पहले issue साफ़ बताइए, फिर सामने वाले से specific help माँगिए। यही English में polite, clear, और effective complaint करने का सबसे आसान तरीका है.
